Question 363 of 1002

What does a yellow warning line mean?

Justification

Limited visibility ahead, overtaking is permitted if it can be done without danger or inconvenience to other road users.

A yellow warning line indicates that visibility ahead is too restricted for normal overtaking. However, this does not necessarily mean that overtaking is prohibited.

Note that overtaking is generally prohibited if it is dangerous or may cause an accident, or if it inconveniences other road users.

Options
Limited visibility, overtaking is prohibited
Warning line indicates speed limit over 60 km/h
Warning line indicates a sharp turn ahead
