The following is stated in the traffic rules:

'At pedestrian crossings where traffic is not controlled by the police or by traffic lights, drivers shall give way to pedestrians who are already on the pedestrian crossing or who are about to enter it.'

'Drivers intending to turn shall give way to pedestrians and cyclists on the road being entered.'

Options
cyclists always have to give way to drivers
in junctions without traffic lights, you have a duty to give way to pedestrians who are in or about to enter the pedestrian crossing
duty to give way is only applicable in junctions outside of densely populated areas
when you want to turn right you have to give way to pedestrians, but not cyclists, who are crossing the road you want to drive into
