Good attitude, risk assessment and insight are more important characteristics than being extremely good at manoeuvering your car. Most accidents are caused by human error, i.e. mistakes made by the driver. A common mistake is driving faster than the speed limit or where it is suitable based on the driving conditions. Another common mistake is the driver's lack in gaining a complete overview of the traffic situation. Being able to skillfully manoeuver your car just doesn't have that much of an effect on accident risk. |
