The following is stated in the traffic rules regarding turning on a road with one lane in each direction of travel: When turning right, the driver shall keep the vehicle as close to the right-hand edge of the carriageway as possible. When turning left, the driver shall drive as close to the middle of the carriageway as possible (i.e. on the left-hand side of your own lane). These rules only apply when turning on a road with only one lane in each direction of travel. If there are two or more lanes in the same direction, other rules apply. |
