Blood alcohol concentrations above 0.5‰ will always result in the loss in driving privileges. Anyone convicted of driving with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.5‰ and below 1.2‰ may be punished by fines and probation or imprisonment. Additionally, your licence will be suspended for at least a year. Exceptions are made for emergency situations, such as transporting someone who has sustained a life-threatening injury to the hospital. |
