I have to give way since I'm obstructing the oncoming car.

It is stated in the traffic rules, that if part of the road is blocked, the driver with the obstacle on his side of the road shall give way.

You therefore have an obligation to give way for the oncoming car (unless it is driving so slowly that it will not be obstructed by your passing of the parked car).
