Question 380 of 1002

What does a white hazard warning line mean?

Justification

That changing lanes could be dangerous.

A warning line (long lines, short gaps) indicates that visibility is restricted, and changing lanes could therefore be dangerous.

A white warning line tells you that traffic in the other lane is travelling in the same direction as you, as opposed to yellow warning lines, which are used when traffic is travelling in the opposite direction.

Options
That visibility is good, and lane changes are permitted
That overtaking is prohibited
That passing cars in the lane next to you could be dangerous
That changing lanes could be dangerous
