It is stated in the traffic rules that:

Overtaking shall take place on the left-hand side.

On carriageways with multiple lanes in the same direction of travel, the right-hand lane shall be used when the traffic rules do not require or permit use of the left-hand lane(s).

In general, you must therefore change back over to the right-hand lane after overtaking (unless you are continuing to overtake other vehicles).
