Question 563 of 1002

What is a correct statement about trams in roundabouts?

Justification

I might have to give way to the tram even if I entered the roundabout first.

A tram entering a roundabout has to give way to other drivers already in the roundabout. But the tram has the right of way once it is inside the roundabout. The tram has a different driving pattern than the regular traffic since it goes through the roundabout, not around it.On its way out of the middle of the roundabout other road users needs to give the tram free passage.

The tram has to give way when entering a roundabout

The car has to give way when the tram is leaving the roundabout

Options
I have to give way to trams entering a roundabout
I always have to give way to a tram in a roundabout
I have to give way to trams exiting a roundabout
I never have to give way to a tram in a roundabout
