Question 644 of 1002

What does this sign mean?

Justification

This sign is a warning sign indicating a *Dangerous curve* to the left.

It is typically used in connection with sharp curves to inform you that it would be dangerous to keep to the general speed limit of the road through the bend. Outside of populated areas the speed limit is normally 70 or 80 km/h, and the warning sign should then be placed 150-250 metres ahead of the hazard.

Options
Dangerous bend to the right
Slippery road
Dangerous bend to the left
Give way for crossing traffic in the upcoming curve
