A Category B license allows you to drive an alternative fuel passenger car with a maximum authorized mass of 4250 kg (or less), if it has been 2 years or more since your driving license was issued.

The additional weight must result directly from the alternative fuel system and not from increased load capacity. The car must be registered in Norway as an N2 vehicle.
