You are allowed to make U-turns at a crossroad, as in other places, as long as there are no signs specifically prohibiting it. But keep in mind that you must always give way to oncoming traffic when performing a U-turn. You should also take into consideration that performing a U-turn could pose a hazard or obstacle to other road users, and it is therefore advisable to look for an appropriate location for making a U-turn rather than simply turning at the earliest opportunity. If there is a sign prohibiting U-turns, the sign applies to the length of road up to and including the first crossroad following the sign. The sign looks like this:  |
