Question 236 of 1002

Where is overtaking prohibited?

Justification

The rules regarding overtaking are stated in the traffic rules. There it is explicitly stated that overtaking is prohibited when visibility is in any way restricted, e.g. by a bend or a hilltop.

In general, it is prohibited to overtake at a crossroads, but there are several exceptions to this rule.

There are no rules prohibiting overtaking on level crossings or in tunnels.
