The first two rules concerning giving way in the traffic rules are:

Road users who are given the right of way must not be obstructed or distracted. A road user who must give way shall demonstrate this clearly in good time by reducing his speed or stopping.

Drivers have an obligation to give way to vehicles approaching from the right. The same applies when drivers intending to turn left meet vehicles approaching from their right.

Right of way is unconditional, and also applies if the driver from the right is delayed in traffic or hindered in other ways. In any case, you have to give way.
